Who am I?
Have you ever asked yourself this question? It’s a tough one to answer if you really truly think about it. What about me is important enough to write in a section dedicated to who I am?
I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and most importantly I am a sinner saved by the grace of Jesus Christ my Lord. Apart from the saving grace of my Lord I am nothing. I have not done, nor will I ever do anything worthy of this Salvation. God sent His only Son to die for me, and all humanity. The blood that flowed from His pierced side was for my sins and yours. There is a fountain flowing for the forgiveness of our sins, and the gift of eternal life is ours if we die to ourselves and submit to the will of God. Through my repentance and faith in God I know that I am redeemed by the blood that was shed in my place. It is not easy, and it requires me to die to my selfish will continually, but the Lord is gracious. May all I do in character, conduct, and word bring Glory to Him who is all deserving.
It is my desire that the words I write on this site may be a blessing and encouragement to you. I pray that I may never fail to give Him all the Glory, and praise!
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
